Tobacco Dock

Grade I listed warehouse Tobacco Dock was once the storage and receipt site for enormous volumes of tobacco delivered from the new world. Now it’s one of London’s historic event spaces, ideal for large scale events that are destined to impress.

The 200 year old, 16,000m2 brick and timber built warehouse can accommodate over 3,000 guests but the variety of spaces, including dramatic basement vaults and atria, provide a range of settings for canapé and bowl food receptions, dinners, launches, conferences and exhibitions.

Tobacco Dock also has its own outdoor, quayside space and offers accessibility and parking facilities for over 800 cars.

Christmas 2018

Under the Christmas Tree is the 2018 theme for Christmas at Tobacco Dock – what starts with a cocktail on arrival, turns into an adventure of epic proportions! From 30th November – 20th December Under the Christmas Tree is a festive experience, full of giant decorations, displays, dancing, performance and gourmet treats. With three fantastic, themed spaces available, Tobacco Dock has the ability to host seated dinners and standing reception parties from 100-3,000 guests.

Steeped in history, Tobacco Dock was built in the early 19^th Century as a secure bonded warehouse for the receipt of wine and Tobacco from the new world. In the 1980s its derelict shell was transformed, in to a high-end shopping centre, to serve the East End of London. Though unsuccessful, this infrastructure has given way to the excellent space and setting that is perfect for large scale, spectacular events. Wander around and lots of the existing features are still here, paying homage to Tobacco Dock’s illustrious past.
