At West India Quay near Canary Wharf DLR station, the Museum of London Docklands showcases the history of London from its Roman roots to the 21st century. From the archaeological discoveries in the Crossrail tunnel, to the expansion of the British empire and the Second World War, the museum offers a fascinating insight into the city’s cultural and economic development.
Today, the Museum of London Docklands can be hired for luxury corporate receptions for up to 1,000 people, or banquets for up to 350. It can also be used for conferences for up to 230 delegates, or wedding receptions for up to 350 guests.
Printworks
In Surrey Quays, close to Canada Water Overground and Jubilee line station, Printworks opened in January of this year and is one of the largest venues in east London, boasting a capacity of 6,000!
