Five superb London meeting rooms with a difference
1 – IWM London
Originally the Royal Bethlem Hospital, this Grade II-listed building is the flagship venue of Imperial War Museums, which celebrated its centenary in 2017. It has a superb hanging gallery and Atrium (seated capacity 350), a luxury roof terrace (seated capacity 180), and the Orpen Boardroom (seated capacity 50) with bird’s eye views of the museum entrance. IWM London is just a short stroll from Lambeth North tube station and is also within walking distance of the Southbank.
2 – One Marylebone
Book a meeting at this beautiful Neo-Classical former church on Marylebone Road. Opposite Great Portland Street tube station, and moments from Regent’s Park, this Grade I-Listed venue is almost 200 years old, and has been hired for luxury receptions since 2008. Hire One Marylebone for up to 400 guests for a seated event.
3 – The Bike Shed
Another venue that’s perfect for showstopping events. In the heart of trendy Shoreditch, The Bike Shed includes four striking railway arches with 12,000 square feet of space. This specially renovated blank canvas venue can be hired for a total of 200 guests in arch 3, or 200 in arch 4, both of which have under-floor heating.
4 – The Magic Circle
The headquarters of the Magical Society, the Magic Circle has a huge exhibition of magic-themed artefacts and is one of the quirkiest London meeting rooms, seconds from Euston Station. With four spectacular spaces accommodating between 6 and 162 guests, it’s a great choice for a more intimate event.
5 – Aveqia
